What should we rename NFL Football so we could call soccer “Football” like the rest of the world does?
It seams that far too many people struggle with the whole Football/Soccer thing. So here is a question just for fun – if we had it to do all over again, what should the American version of Football be called so Soccer can be call Football world wide?

Throw ball. I am a huge football fan, and played football for my high school for 4 years. and now im going to play college ball. But this one thing i dont like about you people here is that you guys are fighting over which sport is better. soccer or football. i personally think Football is a tough sport and most entertaining but i also think that soccer is a really athletic sport. players are always running during the game for 45 min per half.

Screw the rest of the world. We can call football whatever we want. We don’t have to change because of the rest of the pansies on the globe have a little sport called futbol.

how about “then you move the fuck out of this country” because the real football sport (you know, hitting, tackling, etc.) is a little bit more intense then “futbol.” You people come into this country and try to change OUR traditions. Go back to the jungle your mom gave birth to you at.
